SALE OF WORK.
Fine weather favoured the Primitive Methodist Church yesterday, afternoon, and as the result there was a large attendance at the sale of work. The Rev. E. Drake opened the'sale and the stallholders spent a very busy afternoon and evening, the funds of the Home Mission and parsonage benefiting considerably. The stall-holders were:—
Junior Endeavour»(doll Store. —Miss Huckstep and Endeavourers. Provision Stall. Mesdames Upton and Knuckey. Flower Stall.—Mrs Sewell and Misses Tuffin. Guild Plain Work Stall.—Mesdames Gjilmour, Varney and McEwen. Sweet Stall.—Misses Taylor, Cannon, and Blinkhcriie. There are also stalls for fancy work and secondhand books. The refreshment booth is under the capable direction of Mesdames Moon, Cole, Keir, Westbrook, and Black, and Misses Blinkhorne and Perm. j
The sale will be continued this aftejrnoon. commencing at 2.30 o'clock, and also in the evening.
