(United Press Association—Copyright.) LONDON, September 13. The "Daily Mail's" Durban correspondent states that experiments will shortly bo made, with a View to establishing a wireless service between Britain and South Africa.
It is proposed to elevate a kite to a height of a thousand feet, on the Cornwall coast, in order to collect the Hertzian waves. If this be unsuccessful, a receiving station will be erected at Gib-
ra.ltnr.
The cost will be £50,000 to each Government If the service Drove successful, the, South African Union Government will grant £1000 per annum towards reducing the proposed general servioo shilling-a-word tariff by a penny.
