The Legislative Council of St. Vincent has resolved to offer Britain one per cent, of tho local revenues towards the Imperial Navy unfeLtored by conditions. The Council regrets the smallness of the amount and declares it is principally a practical acknowledgment of the gratitude St. Vincent owes Britain.

Mr McClellan, Mayor of New York, has dismissed General Bingham, Commissioner of Police, ostensibly because h© refused to dismiss certain subordinates.
The New York correspondent of the "Tunes" reports that the general interpretation is that General Bingham has been sacrificed to Tammany.
