MURDERER ATTEMPTS SUICIDE

LONDON, July 2. The murder occurred in Jehangir Hall, "which was a wealthy Parsee's gift to the Institute. The guests were mostly natives.
Dhingari was a student at the University College and was astonishingly cool throughout the tragedy. He attempted suicide, but the revolver was empty. He regards himself as a hero. The newspapers recall the assault of S.\r William Lee-Warner, a member of the Council of India, near the Athenaeum Club in February, since when the police have taken extra precautions to protect Indian official1?.

Mr Keir Hardle rcpudates the murder.
Every responsible section of Indian opinion bitterly resent the crime.
Dhinagri was remanded at the Police Court. He stated that Dr Lalaca's death was accidental.
