3000 POLICE ON DUTY.
LONDON. June 30.
3000 police were en duty at Westminster yesterday to cope with the suffragettes. A mount-d constable's horee was stabbed.

The hearing of the charges against the Suffragettes implicated in the Westminster raid, including Mrs Saul Solomon, wife of a former Cape Premier, wero adjourned to enable the Magistrate to consider a question raised relating to tho right of petition.
