Messrs Abraham and Williams reporton their sale as follows:— «
We submitted a large catalogue to a full attendance of buyers'who' competed keenly for all lots offered. Damp skins" were in good -demand at greatly increased prices. We quote: Crutchings—Seedy and we sty Ud to sid. . *
Dry 4-wool s^d per lb. i-wool 6=Jd to 7d, crossb-ed c^ar:e 7d, halfbreds short 7|d, dead skins sid, damp skins 5s 7d to 6s 3d, green "skins 5s cd. .
Hides. —Heavy hidee. wore a- little easier. Ox medium 6£d, light 6d to Qid, cows, (heavy) s^d, medium and light oid. .
