Perhaps one of the finest displays in the art of window dresing may be seen itt Keriiohan's in Guyton Street. . It is surely gratifying to notice that practically everything; displayed is of New Zealand manufacture. The special bacon Window of Dimock and Co.'s goeds is well w-orth seeing. Whitlock's sauces and pickles are also given prominence. Tho grocery and general windows "include tin fruits, jams, honey, cordials, Gilbe/rd and Co.'s soups, Southern "Cross biscuits, arid'heapi of other go^ds too numerous to mention. Mr Kernohan is offering two special prteos (first 10s 6d, 'second- ss) for the brst essay on his windows, written by children under 14 years of age. Keen competition is anticipated. Kernohan and Co; still-hold sway for cheap prices and good quality goods:
