FEILDING, June 18. - The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., market report for tho week ending June 18th:— At Folding on Friday shesp were short of the advertised numbers, but cattle came forward and sold well. Wo. emote:— Sheep.—Empty ewes 7s 7d, lambs 63 Pd. ■ Cattle—Woancrs 15s to 22s 6d, weaner heifers (Jersey cress)-275, 18-' month steers £2 6s, yearling steers 365, I storo cows £2 to £2 os, heifers in calf £i' 17s to £3 10s, good quality heifers (early calvers) £5 Bs, 2^-year steers £4, fat bullocks £7 os 6d. - At Rangiwahia on Tuesday we had a fair yarding of sheep and a small entry of cattle. All classes of sheep, especially lambs, met with keen competition and a good sale resulted. Quo-tations:-Mixed lambs (small) 7s, others to Ss. wether lambs 9s, empty ewes 5s to 7s 3d. 2-tooth wethers 10s lOd, ewes
in lamb 7s Id to 12s 6d, empty heifers
