We venture to say that the people who make a point of visiting the factories Avhich are to be thrown open for their inspection, and of examining the shop-windows which, each in their. Wn line, will be filled with New Zealand made goods, will feel not only surprise at the great range and variety of our manufactures, but satisfaction and pleasure at their excellence and solid workmanship. To quote a Wellington writer:—New Zealand makes articles ranging "from a button to a tramcar/' and " would prove practically a self-sup-porting country if its people were only patriotic enough." Employers are asked to note that a meeting will be held to-morrow at 1 o'clock, not 11 o'clock, as mentioned in these columns yesteraav.
