At Thirroul it. lifted a church off its piles, and canted over the congregation inside, but none were iniured. - MELBOURNE, June 14. The steamer Macedonia, from Adelaide, met the full force of the gale, and hove to for several hours. Mountainous seas swept the ship, and smashed the portholes and flooded the cabins.
