PRINCE OF WALES'S CUP.
Details, of the scores made in the Schools of the Empire Cadet Match, are set out in the latest London fi'es. The contest, which was open to teams of eight school cadets attached to any corps in tho Empire was won, as previously cabled, by the team which represented the Lawrence Military Academy, India, with an aggregate score of 516 points. Wanganui College (New caland) distinguished itself by firing into tho fourth place with a score of 494 points; Altogether, 109 teams competed, 53 f;:om cadet corps in Great Britain. New Zealand/entered 17, as also did Australia. The scores of the New Zealand teams were as follow:— Wanganui College 494 Wellington College ............... 467 Otago B.H.S. 463 Nelson College 455 Christ's College, phristchurch .... 449 Auckland Grammar School .....'. 445 Waitaki B.H.S ...;.... 445 Ashburtpn High School .......... 432 Marlbqrough High School . 428 Christchurch 8.H.51 ............. 406 Palmerston North H.S. ;...... 1.; 400 Timaru B.H.S. V 296 ; The. highest score (66) was made by Cadet Ross, of the winning team. * The previous winners were the cadets of the Brisbane Grammar School, who sepr.ed 490 points. Wanganui that year camo thirty-sixth, Christ's College (Canterbury) thirty^second, Wellington lorty-foufth, and Otago forty-fifth.
