WELLINGTON. June 10. To-night's Gazette notihes that the period -within- which the Timber Commission must present its report is extended to June 10th. ~ .
, Recognition is gazetted of the appointment of Mr Thos. Young as Consul of Japan at Wellington. It is notified that a bonus of 3d per gallon (£6250) wil be paid on the first 500,000 gallons-of-mineral oil produced in. New Zealand.
