Walker have been nominated for the City Mayoralty. There will be contests for all the wards except Caversham and South. OAMARTJ, April 21. Mr R. Milligan has been elected Mayor for a fifth term, and for the fourth time unopposed. PAHIATUA, April 21. ! No fewer than eighteen candidates have been nominated for nine seats at the forthcoming election of Borough Councillors. Mr Crewe, the present Mayor, and Mr Wilson ex-Mayor, are candidates for the. Mayoralty. . PALMERSTON NORTH, April 21. Thirteen nominations have been received for the nine vacancies on the Borough Council . TIMARU, April 21. Mr James Craigie has been re-elected unopposed for the Mayoralty for tho eighth time. For ten seats on the Council there are eighteen candidates, four of whom have been advanced by the committee of the Opposition candidate at the general election. NEW PLYMOUTH, April 21. Mr Gustav©" Fisch has been re-elected as Mayor unopposed. INVERCARGILL, April 21. Mr W. B. Scandrett, the present Mayor, and Mr C. S. Longuet, a former Mayor, were nominated for the Invercargill Mayoralty. Both favour borough amalgamation, and municipal ownership of the trams. HQKITIKA, April 21. Mr H. L .Michel was to-day reelected Mayor of Hokitika, unopposed. DANNEVIRKE, April 21. Pastor Ries, the present Mayor, and Mr John Drummond, ex-Mayor, were to-day nominated for the Mayoralty. There were twelve nominations for councillors.
