At» a concert in connection with the paying over of the stakes, Fog well, received a purse of sovereigns, and divided with Whelch £57, the "gate receipts.
Webb was also presented with a cheque, showing appreciation of his efforts to bring Whelch to the post fit and well.
Whelch has nothing in view, but would like to race Thoroughgood here.
