PALMERSTON N., April 15. The New Zelaand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., report:— At Palmerston North on Thursday, owing to the Easter holidays intervening only a small entry of sheep and cattle camp forward. Prices were on a par with last week and practically all lines were emitted.' We quote:— Sheep.—Cull ewes 2s, store lambs 3s 6d to 5s 6d, forward lambs 7s.
Cattle Store cows 33s 6d, forward cows £2 15s, cows in milk £2 12s 6d, heifers in calf £2 15s, springing heifers £3 32s to £4 17s 6d, cows in calf £3 2s 6d to £3 12s 6d, cows and calves £2 7s, Jersey cow at 'drop £8 ss, bulls £3.
