LONDON WOOL SALES.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., are in receipt of the following cable from their London office: —"As compared with last sales "closing rates prices are 10 to 15 per cent, higher for fine greasy crossbred, about 5 per cent, higher for lambs greasy merino super, coarse greasy crossbred, about 5 per cent, to 7^ per cent, higher for crossbred slipe and scoured crossbred, about 1\ per cent, to 10 per cent, higher for merino scoured and greasy merino medium. Outlookis encouraging. Average price good merino Is Id, medium merino lid, inferior merino 9£d, fine crossbred Is l^d, medium crossbred 10id, coarse crossbred (40) Bd, coarsebred (36) l^d."
Messrs Murray, Roberts and Co. have received the following Wool market cablegram from their London agents, dated 26th March : —The sales have closed with 13,000 bales held over. The market closed very firm, but with no material change. , -
