Owing to the continued dry weather competition was not all keen, but we ' jrnanage^ to dispose of the whole of our . •entry with"the exception of two small pens at the following prices:—Cull aged ewes 2s 3d, mixed age ewes 5s 6d to 6s 9d, 2-tooth wethers 9s'lod, 2-toothewes (small) 10s 6d, 6-tooth and s.m. ewes 10s 6d, 4-tooth ewes {small) 10s 6d, 6tooth and s.m. ewes 10s 6d, 4-tooth ewes (small) 11s, Romney rams f.m. lg, Lincoln rams 2 and 4-tooth lg, lfg to 2gs. At our Palmerston sale, on the 4th inst., there was a good entry of sheep, but small entry cattle; fair clearance. Wo quote:—Cull lambs to ss, medium lambs 6s 6d to 6s 9d, mixed age ewes 6s 3d, 7s Id to 7s 6d s.m. ewes 8s Id to 9s Id, 6-tooth and f.f.m. ewes 10s 8d to 11s 7d, 2-tooth wethers 9s 6d to 10s 6d, fat ewes to 10s. 74, fat lambs to 11s 6d, fat and forward cows £3 13s, fat heifers to £4 Is, weaner steers to 20s.
