THE ALLEGED ROUGH RIDING.
To the Editor
Sir, —In order to effectually finish Mr jinjay Saunders I must ask for another •inch:of your valued columns. In order 'to show that Mr Saunders knew absolutely nothing of the particulars of the accident I must . point.. out that both riders were coming-in wpMsite directions and ,not, as he stated, $ha£ I overtook the icyelist. After <J ibad ]\isp escaped, ybeingj. run into by the careless cyclist und I had pulled up my motor he was standing, in .thei road, making, some very strong, remarks. I did not think it necessary for me to take his damaged cycle to the mender's, under the circumstances. No one was seriously hurt, and the damage was 15s. , Mr Saunders has grossly exaggerated, the whole matter, ..and;l am sorry he was not the cyclist.—----;I ,am, etc., .
