Pastor Heskert, when driving Eliza Betstadt at Goschaesideirg, Hungary, was attacked by eight wolves. He shot one with a revolver, whereon the others fled. Heskert alighted to secure the carcase, when the returned. This caused the horses to 'bolt .with the coachman, and Heskert was devoured.
