THREE HANDSOME BOOKS FOR YOUNG FOLK.
Lucky indeed will be the boy "or girl who finds one of Ward, Lock and Co. 's handsome books among the long-looked-for treasures which will come to light on Christmas morning. They are splendid volumes: This year's " Wonder Book" is certainly the best to date, and any youngster who has had one of the past numbersjof this delightful picture annual will know what that means. It is a big Book, well and strongly bound, and filled with good things. The same commendation applies to the " Happy, Hearts " picture book, and also to "The Wonder Book of Animals." All three books have been edited by Harry Goldirig, and they all do credit to his taste and judgment. In each of the books there are stories galore, to suit all tastes, while the multitude of illustrations are such as will afford endless pleasure to the boys and girls. These three charming books are bound to be prime favourites with Santa Glaus, and it is to be hoped his purse will enable him to include one for every stocking.
