AT NEWTOWN

WELLINGTON, Decembsr 21. A- firo took place to-night in some promises at Newtown, owned by Martin Kennedy, and occupied by C H. Harris and Co., as a furniture factory and warehouse. A portion of tho first floor was severely damaged, and the stock suffered from fire and*.water. The" buijding was insured fcr £200 in the United Office, and the contents for £12C0 in the Atlas office, and £300 in the Alliance. *
