Eclipse, a son of Ensign, carried off the honours. Mr Moor^ carried off the championslwp with Lydia, a heifor oalved since -July Ist, 1907. This heifer, who was awarded Ist and champion nfc Palmorston North, is a conspicuously fine animal. "A heifer of great merit," was the Judge/s criticism. Mr Moore?s Almond -list, was awarded first prize in

tho class for yearling heifers, the Judge's comment being "a beautiful beast." In the class for cow with calf at foot, Mr Moore was again successful in earning off the first prize, beating Mr Donald Ross's Amethyst. Tho Judge's remarks were: "Two good animals, the first—a younger animalshowing tho most quality.
