ASSOCIATION.
As it is desirous that Wanganui should give a good account of itself in ■Oie forthcoming matches "with -> rep. teams from other parts, a match has been arranged for Saturday, in which the local rep. team will meet thirteen of the next best players. The extra two have been added in the team to oppose the reps., as the latter combination is considered very strong, and Saturday's match .will prove a test and enable the reps, to learn one anothev'e play. The rep. team will play in white, and those opposed to them in colours:— White.— Goal, vvylie (T.Y.M.1.); backs, Black (Wanganui), Oliver (Wanean); halves, Bannerman (Wanganui), Wilson (Wanganui), Gooch (CasMecliff); fmr^a^ s' Holmes (Wanganui), Adams <T.Y.M.T.), Gillison CWanganui). Pu-k-Tidffe (Wanganui), Waller (Castlecliff). Colours.—Goal, Love (Wanganui); backs, Murray (Castlecliff), Barron (Rangers), Lambert (Eastbrook); halves Jarrett (Eastbrook), Robson (Fastbvook), Laurie (Castlecliff), Spilnian (Wonganui); forwards. O'Shannev^sev, Walpote, and 'Martin (Eastbrook) Peiimngton (Rangers), J. Woodward (Wanganui).
