On the 2nd inst., at our Wanganui sale, Aye had a good attendance of buyers, and Kill entry of stock, viz., 6b'O mixed cattle, 3000 sheep, and 90 pigs. Competition for cattle was better than of late, and the bulk of tho entry was disposed of."": Most of the dairy cows were somewhat backward in calving, otherwise would have sold. The sheep yarded on the whole were not of very good quality. Good hoggetsi maintained maintained late values. All the yarding sold with the exception x of two lines. Spirited demand for pigs. On the 4th instant, at our Waverley sale^ we had a fair entry of 200 mixed cattle, 1050 sheep, and- 40 pigs. Bidding was spirited throughout, and everything sold before the day closed at satisiactory prices to the vendors. Cattle improved somewhat m prices. Sheep and pigs sold readily.
