WELLINGTON, September 4. A novel point raised by counsel for a°^ IT- nienf ch ' barged before the Arbitration Court with aiding and abettjng in the bakers' : strike was upheld by the Court to-day. The contention was that the defendant, who was once a baker, was neither a worker nor an employer.under the Act, and the case against him was therefore dismissed. Judgment, however, contained a scathing: comment ;bn Dooienech's conduct, and styled him an irresponsible mischief I*ll x? le urt added that the case showed the necessity of amending the law so as to make it penal, as in Canada, for any person to incite of encourage any worker to go on or continue on strike.
