The only s6ore made was a penalty goal, kicked in th^ first' spell tor St. Mary's by Abbotti v;; The Auckland men made a big effort to equalise matters in the second -spell, but were unable to do soothe game ending: St. Mary's 3, Auckland iSacred^ Heart nil! Keene, Tobin, Little, and Lonegrin were the best of the visiting backs, and Dunn (2), Waddle, and Hams «rere the pick of the forwards. For Wanganui the two Campions, Spillane, and McKenna were the best backs, and Hbgan Dustin, O'Donnell, and J. MacDonalcl were most prominent among the forwards. .
