- - PALMERSTON N., Sept. 2. me Manawatu golf tourney was continued to-day in fine weather. The men s_ drive and approach was won by Mr H-/fi: ,Lusk (Christchuroh). Mrs J aii. (°takl)- won the ladies' drive, and^the men's handicap was won by Mr A. Barrand (Palmerston). .The following qualified for the championship to be played to-day:—A Barrand 160, V. HarmaiM7l. G. Saunders 1/1. W. B. Colbeck 172, H. B Lusk i l74 < J. Harold 176, Winterburn 176, A. Seifert 177, K. Duncan 177. - .In the semi-finals for the ladies' champion - » • Mesdames Innes and Beyan, and Misses Cave and - Williams play off to-day. ■••.-■....
