| At Stratford, on Friday, 21st, I held a clearing sale of dairy cattle on account of Mr W. Bonner. Pedigree Jerseys made £13 10s to £21, purebreds : and others £7 to £12 10s, backward calvers £3 to £6 15s. At Toko, on Monday, calves made 14s 6d to 19s 6d, yearlings 21s to 225, 18-months heifers 30s 6d to 35s 6d, springing heifers £3 5s to £4 Bs, forward store cows £2 9s to £3 10s, 2^-year-old bullocks £4. On account of Mr S. Cedge calves made £5 to £6 15s, late do. £3 to £4 15s. At my Stratford! yards, on Tuesday, calves made lls 6d to 13s, 12 to 18----months steers 23s to 345, 18-montha heifers 20s to 375, 2 to 2^-year steers £4 5s to £4 12s 6d, store cows £1 5s to £3. In the dairy pens springing cows made £5 to £8 10s, heifers £3 5s to £8 7s 6d, late and backward calves £2 to £5 10s.
