NEW YORK, August 27. Two English girl converts to Mormonism, who landed at Boston, were deported because they were runaways, while 11 Scandanavian women converts were excluded because they had been financially assisted to the States. A canal at Augusta, in the State of Georgia,^ burst its banks and flooded the city to a depth of from six to twelve feet, carried away bridges, flooded farms, and did damage to the extent of half a million dollars.
