MOROCCO, August 23.
Mulai-Hafid's forces crushingly defeated Abdul Aziz's troops 50 miles from Marakesh. The'remnant of Abdul Aziiz's army retreated towards the French zone in the Shaivia district. During their retreat the shattered force repelled attacks made by hostile tribes. Several Kaids and chiefs were killed.
