DALGETY AND CO.'S REPORT.

Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Limited, report having held their Marton salo on Tuesday, the 7th inst., when, owing to the busy season there was only a small entry of both sheep and cattle, and also a very small attendance. Evidently buyers were uncertain as to the future prospects of the sheep market, and bidding was slow. Our principal sales were —5-tooth wethers 14s, yearling to 15-months steers £2 13s, yearling steers £2 2s, dairy cows £3 os.
