v Crowds of eager buyers thronged tho huge Economic yesterday, when Messrs George and Ke-rsley commenced their great bargain sale of Sydnoy and Melbourne warehouse stocks and duty-free goods, and right throughout the daybig business was done in all departments. As was expected, there was a big run on the duty-free goods, such as prints,, muslins, sheetings calicoes sateens, zephyrs, etc.; also on showroom goods, where bargains abound.
