(From Our Own Correspondent.) Tho new timetable for tho Public Works Department trains will start on Saturday, the 21st instant, giving three trains each way. Tihis will be a great •boon to ua. Mr. Armstrong's brake will attend on eaclb train, and' convey intending visitors to and fro. Undoubtedly many will come and see thia district, and enjoy the bush and first-class fishing alongside.
The mills are getting into going ca'der. Mr. Gammon's new •mill—one of the largest in the island—will be in full swing very eoonj, and many other mills are about starting. I will give yon a "" full list, withi. capacity, latei- on. The weather still remains warm.
