A PAINFUL ACCIDENT.

AUCKLAND, July 24
Paul Maria, chef at tha Tiffin, and Emile Debalman, a young man cook, just 'engaged, were badly scalded this morning by an. explosion of steam in a chest used for cooking) food. The report of the explosion and the screams of the sufferers brought assistance. They were attended to iand thon removed to th>& hospital. Neither man. was very seriously hurt.
