Mr. Arnold, M.H.R., of New Zealand, during a visit to Australia investigated the working of tlie Wages Board of Victoria. He believes that the introduction info New Zealand of such a Board would prove a valuable assistance in the work of the Arbitration Court Mr. Arnold was also much impressed by the gaol management of New South Wales.
