AUCKLAND, November 30. The mail steamer Sonoma arrived from Sydney..this afternoon. The engines worked jatiffly-vfor "a couple of days after her overhaul at Sydney, but her Last day's run was a good one, 15 knots per hour being averaged. Captain Tiiask, the commander, states that he is confident that the Sonoma will make hea- contract time to San Francisco. The steamer leaves early in the morning on her voyage,
