LORD LANSDOWNE INTERVIEWED

(Receivod November 30, 10.19 p.m.) ;: LONDON, November 30. The Duke of Norfolk introduced to Lord Lansdownea deputation of Catholics from all parts of England and Wales, '■■ urging th& House of Lords to adhere to the amendments in the Edu* cation Bill.
Same of the spokesmen declared that the Bill even now did not meet their requirements.
Lord Lansdowne, in reply, said he could ihaa^dly believe the Government would reitJct the House of Lords' amendments wholesale. If the Bill were thus treated, the Lords would not shirk the'challenge. There was no fear of the Lords paying an excessive price io terminate the controversy.
One hunder and twenty Nonconformist Commoners have signed up to the present -the Bannerman memorial cabled on the 22nd.
