.HAWERA, August 29. Judge Seth Smith's Commission of Enquiry into alleged usury in lending money to the Maoris is being continued. The evidence shows that 5s in the £ was charged for a period of <\ few w Jee-ks up to six months, la renewal for the next six months requiring another os in the £.
