MoGRUER AND CO.'S FIRST GREAT SALE.
A CONSPICUOUS SUCCESS
Wet weather did not seem to interfero with the attendance1 at McGruer and Co.'s sale on Saturday—or should it rather be said that if it had been a. fino day the building would not have been big enough to accommodate the crowd?.- In any case, the staff had more than they could' do all day, and it is feared a good many were overlooked in tho ruefcf. to whom the firm wish to express their regret. There will be opportunity, however, all this week, when the bargain list will remain precisely tho same as on^opamng day. No> ono should miss th's money saving opportunity for it is unique in the annals of sales in Wanganui. -
