Andrassy submitted to King Joseph the 'Hungarian Coalition's proposals in ■regard to peace, creduoing their original demands for tifoe nationalisation of the army to a minimum, merely desiring the King's declaration that his supreme rights over ibhe army would 'henceforth (be •exercised in accord with the Hungarian Parliament.
King Joseph declined to accept tJie&e conditions, and ac a result the negotiations aa-e ruptured. An abisolutist regime is imminent.
