JFrictiort between the Anjero tribe and the followers of the notorious chief Rai_ 6uli, is leading to frequent murders and [reprisals. , ■ - The Anjeros iburnied three villages in East Tangier on Friday. Raiisuli, with a guard, is investing the Tangier roads, murdering travellers.
The Moorish troops are powerless to cope with the trouble, owing to lack of food and desertions.
