BRISBANE, January 27
The steamer Warrego was undergoing repairs in the river. A plate was being" inserted .above the water Line. Rivetting was uncompleted when work ceased. The vessel settled in the mud during the night, submerging the plate. The bulkheads were opened, and she filled.
