SYDNEY, December 1. The bu^li fires in the Condobolin districb swept an area of over 100 miles. It is estimated that 400,000 acres of gresa and much fencing and crops were destroyed. The Government have granted'permission to stockowners to conduct, at their own expense, experiments in Dr Danyszs' methods of exterminating rabbits. An cislsand is to be set aside for the purpose. There is £48,000 still owing to th© Government for seed wheat advanced to farmers during the last drought.
