I ■ TO YOUNG WOMEN. Young Woman, Have you realised yet what NoLicense means to you ? You have your life before you, and in the ordinary course of events you will marry. You Know a Fine Young* Man— A free, sociable sort of fellow, as genial as they make them, and as merry as a cricket; filled to the brim with good intentions and kindliness. He doesn't like to go about with other fellows and not stand in with them in whatever is on, and if it's a. matter of drinking--well, he'll be j '•;■ in that too. . • ■■! Do You REALISE WHAT THAT MEANS IN THE FUTURE, if the licensed liquor bars remain in existence ? It means, if you marry that young man and the drink habit grows on him as it may, Wasted time (your own and his),, wasted ideals, wasted chances of advancement, neglect, poverty, perhaps cruelty, debt, disease and degradation. And he's a fine young fellow now. LOOK AROUND YOU! You don't need telling where to look. Pick out the man for yourselves, and then ask their wives what manner of men they were in their youth. Every woman will tell you what a fine young man her husband was then. AND NOW —well, yon can see that for yourself. How much will you be concerned in the RATES if your HUSBAND IS A DRUNKARD ? Now, Don't BE LED AWAY By tales of loss of prosperity to the town, and higher RATES. The Rates are a small matter compared with your home life. REMEMBER THIS: A sober husband may treat you badly, a drunken hus^ band certainly will. And remember also, your vote is as good and as powerful as that of the best and biggest man who ever stood in shoe leather. Bear that in mind, and for the sake of your own hopes and ideals forget £ s. d. and StrikeOutthe Top Line! i
