The fiimt ■•wool sale of the current season was held to-day. At a isrimilair sule Last j'ear 4000 bales -were oißfered. This year, owing to the wetness of the sea<son only 1500 bales came forward. Half'breds 10c! to lid, supe-iv'or crossbreds lOid to 10|d, medium orosebreds 9^d. to 10d, coarse orossibreds 9d to 9|d, inferior and log stained 8d to 9d, pieces and bellies 6d to 7id, locks 3d-to 4|d.
