"ERIN-GO-BRAGH."
With reference to the above forthcoming production by the Taylor-Cai-rington Company at the Opera. Hou.se on Thursday evening, we quote the following :—" In ' Erin-go-Bragli' the Tay-lor-Cavrington management 'base secured a. really up-to-date drama with a .strikingly original and most interest-ins plot; and crammed full of comedy, incident, and sensation. As a rule dramas of this character verge on the unreal, but not so with ' Erin-go-Braph.'; for the sensational incidents of the play carry conviction with them, and seem but 'the 'natural results of /tho unrayelment of the plot. The characterisation, too, is very fine. We have a qua:nt Dutchman; an intensely comic i'!d Irishman; a most interesting widow; a Kidnapped child; a villumous Now York gamblei*; a veiry lamnsing iris:li lad; a kindly Chinaman; and an Irish Leroine. ■who io sometimes powerful, _ sometimes pathetic, sometimes comic, but always natural and effective. Miss Carcington and Mr Taylor play tlie principal parts splendidly and are well supported by their capable company. ' Erin-go-Bragli' should draw crowded houses until m ixt Saturday, when 'Rip Van Winkle' will 'be presented."—" Indian Daily News."
