BRISBANE, September 13

The representative of the Sydney Chinese, who was sent to German New Guinea to inquire into the question of Chinese stowaways, has returned. He reports that the Governor has agreed t> their release on payment of 6000 marks and fourpence per day for their keep. A wealthy Chinese resident found the money. Tke delegate complains bitterly of the way the men were treated. Sixteen were in the hospital.
