The fine Nurse1;' Home m now occupied. The new ward containing twenty-four beds is, I tnink, unnecessarily large, but well finished. Thero is a bow window projecting into the ward which loses a bed, and tho ceiling of the commodious linen room at tho back is horribly discoloured. Tho lavatory block attached, to this ward is nob cross-venti-lated, and schemes for remedying it wero discussed with tho chairman. A great deal of interest is taken in tho we!faro of tho hospital, and it is well administered.
