Wool is brisk of sale, but American buyers are less active. Merinos are very firm. Gear clip sold at 11 3-Bd. Wheat.—The American visible supply j-i 10,130,000 bushels.

Tho C.C. and D. Company has received tho following cable from London :— ' Frozen meat quotations—Canterbury mutton 4^d; Napier, Wellington, and North Island 3 7-Bd. Lamb—First s£d, second 5 3-Bd. Beef—Hinds 3 3-Bd, fores 2 3-Bd.
Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Limited, havo received the following cablegram from their London office, dated 11th instant:—Wool sales continue firm, and lately reported rates are fairly maintained, medium greasy crossbreds excepted. Greasy wools suitable for America, prices are a shade easier.
