TECHNICAL SCHOOL CONCERT.
The programme to be submitted at the concert in the Opei-'a House on Monday evening will be published to-morrow moa-ninig. Much intei-est is being taken in the Garrison Band items. The test piece, "\Herdiic," is a very fine selection, and in it the Band ai>» afforded opoor'buniity to. display the great ability they possess, llbe American sketch,I ■ In Ole Kentucky," is sure to oneet with populair approval. It is a delightful piece of music, desoi-iptive of a day in the life of the negroes on the icofcton fiedd. The different movements. depict "t!be workei^ aetting off for the fields,- fun by the way, wood-chopping competition, work in the fields, "knock off," flirtation on the road home, a cake walk, etc. Mr Henry Duigan will recount a drem he recently experienced in whioh Field's scheme and sundry other matfbers occupied a promin. ent place. Mir Cecil Wray, who is a splendid entertaiineir, will give one of his specialities. The vocal items will be of a very liigh order.
